A friend of mine asked me for some mobile structure to fill an empty corner in her new home.
I chose the colors, a range of pinks, red and purples and she asked me to stay with a very classical origami theme: cranes.
I have folded hundreds of cranes in the last months, and I am a little bit tired of them, but I have to admit that the result is beautiful and cranes are one of the most elegant and dreamy subject you could think about.
I used a symmetrical structure with two basic structures on each side and two cranes per each branch of the structure.
I usually prepare the mobile until the last step and I leave a final thing to do that I love: opening the cranes wings. It makes me think they're ready to fly...
